Crest White Strips

by teethwhiter on December 8, 2011

Update: The white spots faded after 5 days of not using them. If you are going to use these and you have sensitive teeth, I advise you to use them every other day, and not daily. After I quit using these, I found an alternative. I bought the Arm & Hammer Peroxicare toothpaste and it works wonders on whitening my teeth =].

The spots go away. I had the same problem. What I recomend is trying the 5 minute strips. Do it once a day instead of twice and they’re great. They didn’t bother me nearly as much. and If your teeth are over sensitive, use act restoring fluoride rinse. It helps take care of the sensitivity.

actually either way they burn. if you go to the dentist and get the trays, it still burns like a motha when you’re whitening them..

I had a concert to go to that night..and couldnt even sing along because of how much it hurt..talking hurt soo muchh !!!! I do have sensitive teeth..but didnt think that it would have hurt sooo much ! so i advice if you tend to hve sensitivity in ur teeth do not purchase this..because ull most prob be crying over the pain!!!

you know ibuprofen is generally used to relieve pain by alleviating swelling… you should’ve tried acetaminophen aka Tylenol. that stuff raises your pain threshold

so when should you use the strips and how many times a day

I got these and I don’t have sensitive teeth. I used them once for 30 minutes and … what a mistake that was.
They made my teeth (especially bottom row) soo sensitive and sore afterwards, I wouldn’t even dare to try a second day.
I think it’s the plain VIVID pack that I’ve heard all the complaints from, so if you’re buying them don’t buy that type. Avoid them!! Waste of money, pay that little more for the professional level one.

I have used these 2 times so far. I have the professional pack. My teeth are already sensitive and i will have to do it every other day. but this means the gel is actually working….. how many methods even whiten your teeth? none, exept going to the dentists. so they are deffinately worth it. I see a big difference already after 2 applications.

To have such a sensitive mouth and extraordinarily beautiful face, one wonders the point and wiseness of the tongue barb, but that’s a separate issue. For the record, the Vivid product seems to create a lot more of the symptoms than the Professional version, which adheres to the teeth better and produces very little if any sensitivity. I was also unhappy with the Vivid, although I finished the pack, but the Professional version (a little more expensive, of course) worked great. Keep smiling!
